Thought maybe that was Rinaldo's best game as a pro to date. Fulfilled his role to perfection.

Hell of a game for him, eh? Even apart from the goal and the fight, he plays his role well.

it's a shame JD went from STL to CLB. i think he's the best color analyst i've ever heard for the NHL. certainly one of the most likeable guys, i wish him well.

Knuble was fine, too. But the Briere line was pretty quiet on the whole last night; not a bad game for them, though.

If Bryz can play like that every night the Flyers can go a long way.

The defense was 180 degrees from what it showed just 1 night earlier.

The Flyers have an APB out for Claude Giroux, if anyone has seen him please contact Flyers management.

Jake has really stepped his game up after a rough early start. That line showed alot of promise last night.

If Zac can play that way every game, If... If... If...

He would be a dynamic little spark plug/agitator.

Hoody-hoo! Gonna be a low post count what with a win last night. I much prefer a loss-win result to a win-loss result in back to back games. Keeps this place less toxic & silly.

Great assessment, Bill. I feared I'd jinxed Nick Grossmann after receiving his jersey the other night as a gift.

And on a night like last night where the other 3 lines were all doing their part, sometimes thats all thats needed. Sometimes if a line just doesn't have it offensively one night, you just need them to go out their and give you an honest, hard-working shift.

Thats what Knuble and the rest of his line did last night. Sometimes you may get a night of pucks off the boards or flipped out of the zone and consistent dumps at the red-line from one line, but sometimes thats all you need

Good, hard-working win. It seemed like they were getting outplayed in the first, but after that the forechecking seemed to give them the advantage. I'm also really liking what I'm seeing from Schenn/Jake/McGinn. By the way, McGinn is tied fro second on the team in both goals and +/-.

Very oddly officiated game. The charging call on Rinaldo looked like a hard, solid, clean check. I don't remember seeing him leave his feet. Then, almost nothing called in the 2nd, then a flurry of calls in the 3rd (although you HAVE to call the Schenn one).

both hits in that sequence looked clean to me, the jet got called for charging- i didn't go back to look and see how many strides the guy took but live viewing didn't look penalty worthy

Bill- do you think Buff could get a game for the elbow/slash to Rinaldo?

I thought Giroux played a great defensive game. I think the offense isn't far behind. When he gets going, people will forget all about JVR and Bob Ryab.

Ilya Bryzgalov was a tower of strength in goal for the Flyers.

Nice bounce back win. With the exception of that first PP, strong road game. Bryz, huge again.

I wonder who's going to lose their job as a result of McGinn's emergence when Scott Hartnell returns.

No way McGinn goes back to ADK now, right?

its going to be quite interesting to see what happens once Hartnell comes back.....assuming everyone else stays healthy of course. who sits?

I really like the chemistry between Jake and Schenn.

Hard to say after a game like last night where everyone played well.

Id say its probably a combo of McGinn, Knuble, and Rinaldo. Nothing wrong with scratching Knuble here and there with his old body. McGinn and Rinaldo could sit at any given point either cool off.

It's going to be damn hard for Knuble to stay in the line-up if that 4th line keeps playing the way it did last night though. He's definitely the odd man out imo.
